Aberdeen Lions @ Wal-Mart raffling for Camp Dogwood

This past Saturday, April 22, several members of the Aberdeen Lions were camped out in front of Wal-Mart in Aberdeen to raise some money for Camp Dogwood.  During the four hours Lions Connie, John, Dave, Dorothy, Jim, Chuck & Eric sold about 29 books worth of tickets and raised about $330!  Not bad for a morning's work.

We also had a special raffle for the tickets sold during the morning for a $50 Wal-Mart gift card.  The lucky winner was Tim Despain of Pinebluff.  Thanks to everyone that bought a ticket and to the Lions that were there to make the morning successful.
